The download failed — what should I do?

Some videos may be geo-restricted or have changed their streaming format. Try again after a few minutes. If it keeps failing, the video may no longer be available for download.
Why is the download speed slow?

Download speed depends on your internet connection and the video's source CDN. The app downloads in 1MB chunks to stay within platform rate limits.
Where are my downloaded files saved?

Files are saved to the Downloads folder on your device (or the app's external files directory on Android 10+). You can find them in your Files app under Downloads → YT Downloader.
I paid for Premium but it didn't activate.

If payment went through on Razorpay but the app didn't update, email us with your Razorpay payment ID within 48 hours and we'll manually verify and activate.
How do I turn off analytics?

Open Settings → Privacy → toggle off "Usage Analytics". No data will be sent to our servers after that.
Can I download private or restricted content?
▼
No. The app can only download publicly accessible media. Private posts, DRM-protected content, and region-blocked videos cannot be downloaded.
The app isn't opening after a share from YouTube.

Go to Android Settings → Apps → YT Downloader → Open by default → Clear defaults, then try sharing again. The app must be selected as the handler for YouTube links.
How do I request deletion of my analytics data?

Email us at arnab00725@gmail.com with your device's Install ID (visible in the app's About section). We'll purge your data within 5 business days.
