1Introduction

Welcome to YT Downloader, a media-saving application for Android developed by Devhives (devhives.in). By installing or using this app you agree to these Terms of Service in full.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please uninstall the app and do not use it.

2Permitted Use

You may use YT Downloader only to:

Save media for your own personal, offline, non-commercial viewing.

Download content for which you own the copyright or have explicit permission from the copyright holder.

Download content that is in the public domain or licensed under Creative Commons with appropriate permissions.

3Prohibited Activities

You must not use this app to:

Download, reproduce, distribute, or monetise copyrighted content without the rights holder's permission.

Circumvent digital rights management (DRM) systems or technical protection measures.

Download content from platforms in violation of those platforms' own terms of service in ways that harm those platforms.

Use downloaded content for commercial purposes, public performances, or re-uploads without permission.

Engage in bulk or automated downloading that constitutes a denial-of-service against any platform.

Use the app for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable local, national, or international laws.

Your responsibility: It is your sole responsibility to ensure you have the right to download any content. Devhives is not liable for any copyright infringement or policy violation caused by your use of the app.

4Content & Copyright

YT Downloader is a technical tool. It does not host, store, or serve any third-party video content. All media is fetched directly from the content provider's own CDN infrastructure. We have no control over and take no responsibility for the content you choose to download.

The app itself — its source code, UI, branding, and all original assets — is the intellectual property of Devhives. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute the app without written permission.

The app is intended for personal use only. The disclaimer "This app is for personal use only. Downloading copyrighted content without permission is prohibited" is displayed inside the app for this reason.

5Premium & Payments

YT Downloader offers an optional Premium subscription at ₹50/month, processed securely through Razorpay.

Ad-free experience

No interstitial ads while Premium is active.

30-day access

Premium activates for 30 days from the payment date.

Non-transferable

Premium is tied to the device install. It does not transfer to other devices.

No auto-renewal

Each purchase is a one-time 30-day activation — no automatic charge.

Refund policy: As this is a digital service that activates immediately upon payment, all sales are final. Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for technical failures — contact us within 48 hours of purchase.

We do not store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Razorpay under PCI-DSS standards. For payment disputes, contact arnab00725@gmail.com.

6Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee:

Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the app.

That downloads will always succeed — third-party platforms may change APIs or restrict access at any time.

That downloaded content will play on all devices or apps.

Availability of any specific streaming platform integration.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Devhives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or inability to use it.

7Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue the app or any of its features at any time without notice. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Upon uninstalling, all local data (download history, settings, analytics DB) is removed from your device.

8Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through an in-app notice or by updating the effective date at the top of this page.

Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
